Netta Fei is a writer enchanted by women of color who reclaim and embody their true selves to live high every day. A certified spiritual self* coach, she is the author of the award-winning biblical fiction novel A Most Useful Betrothal and the Substack publication and community True Self Society. Drawing on her experiences as a preacher’s kid, Southern Black Baptist, journalism and MBA student at a PWI, corporate marketing executive, and half of a misaligned marriage, Netta Fei tells stories and shares insights that inspire women to shed falsities, rise in true self, awaken goddessness, embody divinity, and live on 10—elevated, free, and joy-filled. She supports literary and sisterhood communities as a donor to the Black Emotional and Mental Health Collective and as a member of the Women’s Fiction Writers Association, Black Authors Association, Georgia Writers Association, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. When she’s not writing or chatting with others, you’ll find her reading, creating art, playing tennis, walking, laughing with friends, or testing new plant-based recipes—and persuading her family to try them.
Connect with Netta FeiI first connected with Netta after coming across a clip she shared on her Substack — it was so rich, so juicy, that it inspired me to write an entire post of my own. As I explored her work more deeply, I realized we shared so many frequencies and familiar stories. I knew I had to invite her to grace The Mediocre Black Woman podcast. In this episode, we open up about our journeys through marriage and divorce — and how those experiences shaped the versions of ourselves we are today. 🎥 The full video replay is available now for paid subscribers of The Mediocre Black Woman Podcast on Substack. Below, you’ll find all the ways to stay connected with Netta and her beautiful body of work.
