Threat to the Script: Your Creativity is Currency
A Personal Message for Anyone Struggling to Turn Their Gifts Into Their Livelihood
I wasn’t planning to record this message because it was initially a personal one. But when I sat down with the “Threat to the Script” spread — the one I created earlier this week for the collective — Spirit was like, “You thought this was just for you. Share it!”. And the message that came through? Too aligned. Too necessary not to share. This is for anyone who feels the tug-of-war between their calling and their conditioning. For the creatives, intuitives, healers, entrepreneurs — and the folks who know they’re meant for more but get caught between passion and practicality. Let’s get into it! What the Spread IsThreat to the Script is a signature layout I created for The House. It’s designed to reveal:the outdated narrative you’ve been performing
It’s a clarity spread. A calling spread. A pattern-breaking spread. And when I used it on myself… whew. It went straight for the real roots of my creative and money wounds. The MessageThe Script You’re Releasing — Ace of Wands The old story I’m shedding? The belief that my creativity isn’t enough to sustain me. I grew up hearing the same story many of us did: “Pick something stable. Pick something serious. Be practical.” So even though I always had a creative fire, I carried this deep conditioning that passion was “extra,” not foundational. But Ace of Wands came through like: Your spark is the path.Your creativity is currency.Your ideas aren’t side pieces — they’re the main dish. And the crown chakra on the card told me exactly where the block was: We’ve been thinking about our creativity more than we’ve been trusting it. The Disruption — Judgment What threatens the script is my calling. Judgment showed up with its “no more shrinking” energy — reminding me that people who live from obligation often feel shaken by those who live from purpose. My calling disrupts the script because:
And it certainly doesn’t obey the rules of how success is “supposed” to look. Spirit said: Follow the music your soul recognizes. Not the tune the world expects. The Truth Rising — King of Swords King of Swords came in quick with this: “You’re not confused. You’re just scared to admit what you already know.” That hit. Because I do know what I’m meant to do. I do know my gifts are real. I do know the kind of work I want to create. The card challenged us to stop shrinking our truth to make it palatable. To stop pretending we don’t know what we know. The third eye chakra told me: The discernment is already here and you can trust it. The Resistance — The Moon The Moon revealed that the resistance isn’t skill. It isn’t capacity. It isn’t ability. It’s fear. Old programming. Inherited narratives. And illusions handed down from people who never had the tools to dream freely. The Moon asked: “What illusions about success, sustainability, and self-worth are you still carrying that don’t belong to you?” A lot of us are trying to build new lives with old rules. And it isn’t working. The Rewrite — Page of Cups When I choose myself — truly choose myself — Page of Cups emerges: Open. Creative. Playful. Hopeful. Surprised by life in the best ways. This is the version of me that channels clearly. The version of me that creates work people feel. The version of me that’s grounded in joy, not fear. This card reminded me: Your creativity thrives when you stop performing and start belonging to yourself again. The Blessing — The Devil (Capricorn) This part made me laugh because this is my card — Capricorn’s Major Arcana. But here, the Devil wasn’t about limitation. It was about liberation. The card showed me the chains are loose. Loose enough to lift off ourselves without waiting for anyone to save us. The blessing is this: When you follow your path, you break the chains you didn’t even know you were still wearing. You stop obeying scarcity. You stop inheriting fear. You stop living on someone else’s blueprint. And with Saturn showing up (the planet of discipline and structure), Spirit said: You can build something real from your gifts because you’re wired to. But you have to stop living from wounds that were never yours to begin with. Where the Conditioning Came FromAs I reflected deeper, something clicked: I grew up in poverty for part of my life. I watched adults abandon dreams to survive. I had a stepfather with a passion he never got to fulfill — and a lot of his advice came from that heartbreak. So of course I learned:
And here I am, years later, having taken every “stable” route… only to still be rebuilding from my creativity and my passions. So if the safe route didn’t “save us”…Why not try the path that’s actually mine? If I’m going to rebuild — I’m rebuilding with my gifts this time. Your Creativity is CurrencyThis reading reminded me: Your creativity is not a liability. It is your leverage.Your intuition is not a distraction. It is direction. Your calling is not delusion. It is your compass. We’ve been talked out of our gifts long enough. It’s time to talk ourselves back into them. If this message landed for you, it wasn’t just my reading. It was yours too. xoxo, Goddess Theadora 👉🏾 If this message spoke to you, now is the time to go deeper. Our shop is open, and personal messages are only $9 through the end of November.
